For more than three months I accompanied five young winemakers from Rheinhessen for my bachelor thesis. The result is a photographic documentation, supported by field reports that provide a very personal insight into the winemaker’s daily business.
My headline question was: “What are the differences between these young people and the ‚old‘ generation?” To find some answers, I did interviews and explored the exciting and varied history of Rheinhessen as a wine-producing region.
The final book “Junge Wilde?” is a collection of personal impressions and experiences that are just as interesting and entertaining for wine experts as they are for beginners.
